Symbiosis International University signs MoU with BVG India Ltd.


Maharashtra Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) a project of Government of Maharashtra along with Bharat Vikas Group (BVG) India Ltd was formally launched on 1st March 2014 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra at Mumbai 


A formal MOU has been signed between Symbiosis International University and BVG India Ltd where by Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) has been entrusted with the entire academic training, across all districts of Maharashtra.

To date, SIHS has trained 3500 doctors as Emergency Medical Professionals(EMPs). These EMPs are capable of providing competent care for the sick or injured in any emergency medical setting.

An addendum to the existing MOU was recently signed wherein SIHS will further train all these EMPs in Basic Life Support (BLS)/ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) of American Heart Association (AHA) and Trauma training course of International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
