Donate Blood, Donate Smile- Blood Donation Drive organized by Symbiosis

Symbiosis celebrated the International Student’s Day on 31st July 2018 by organizing a Blood Donation Drive simultaneously at all the nine campuses at Pune and four outstation campuses at Noida, Nashik, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
This year the Blood Donation Drive was arranged by Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC), Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) and Symbiosis College of Nursing (SCON) in association with 15 Blood Banks, across India.
Before conducting the Drive, the promotional event was undertaken in three stages: By spreading awareness regarding blood donation & simultaneously breaking down the myths through motivational campaigns, by encouraging the donors through Poster Competition & through performance of Street Plays by the college students. Regarding poster competition, an overwhelming response of 509 participants starting from Kindergarten to the Postgraduate level of students, as well as staff of Symbiosis was received.
