Guest lecture Series


The guest lecture was held on 31st august 2018 in symbiosis institute of health sciences. We had two guest speakers who enhanced the environment by sharing their views and presenting their thoughts.

The first speaker was Dr. Rajeev Boudhankar , CEO of Bhatia Hospital . In his lecture he discussed on How To Be A Successful Professional. He discussed what all are the skill sets required in a healthcare field or generally to become successful in any organization .He also introduced the audience to many exclusive examples and challenges in the world at large with different references. He shared his own experience on how he evaluated an individual during an interview .Not only by giving examples but also  with his speech he motivated our students to become successful and develop leadership and communication skills before entering  any organization. During  his session he constantly asked us questions about what is leadership , what all are the skills sets or what one expects in an organization .Basically we all enjoyed the motivational talk. It helped us gain confidence in what ways we have to achieve our dreams and how we should tackle problems in the organization to become successful.




The second speaker was Dr. Lalit Verma , Vice president of Apollo Hospitals who gave presentation on Patient Safety Considerations In Hospital Planning. He gave a brief outlook on what all needs to be kept in mind while planning a hospital for patients , as there is an increase chances of safety issues in regards of patient health. He elaborated on different measures of safety to be kept in mind and followed in hospital in terms of infrastructure modulation , infection control, disaster management , emergency services and all health related issues. He gave a brief scenario in the hospital when it comes to deal with problems of a patient as well as safety measures.
