''An Eye Donation awareness program was conducted on 2nd july '14, an initiative of The Rotary Club Of Poona Downtown (RCPD). Mr. Hemant Shah, The President, addressed all the students with an impactful insight about eye donation.

 The whole procedure and the technicalities involved in the eye donation were explained. Various myths surrounding eye donation were cleared.


 Dr. Sangita Wagh, Ophthalmologist-Ruby Hall Hospital, attended to the queries of the students making everyone more thorough with the importance of eye donation.
Motivated by them, everyone in the auditorium, took a pledge to donate their eyes.''
